1970 – For the new season the 3rd series Corsaro Regolarità was confirmed, a winning motor appreciated by all but in Bologna the Morini technicians were preparing to unveil continuous innovations.
Two new models were produced in 1970, series 4 and 5 – these were used for the most part in 1971. At the Valli Bergamasche, Lovere  (28/29 June) the 28 Morinis entered at the start left everyone standing and gained victories in two classes.
Fausto Oldrati arrived 2nd in the 125 class, followed by Aldo Marconi in 6th place.
In the 175 class they took all the primary positions with Pierluigi Rottigni 2nd, Bernardino Gualdi third, Edoardo Dossena 4th,  Emilio Capelli 5th, Eugenio Saini 7th and Ezio Dall' Ara 10th.
In the Italian championship also Morinis took the high ground, conquering two classes.
In the 100 Fausto Oldrati arrived first followed by Demetrio Bonini second.
Alessandro Gritti graduated champion in the 175 class, followed by Edoardo Dossena second, Bernardino Gualdi 4th, and Emilio Capelli 5th.
In the 100 class 100 Luigi Rottigni arrived second, confirming once again Morinis as the best  Italian motorcycle.

At the Spanish Six-Days in Escoril (5/10th October) three Italian teams attended, once again on the seats of Morini bikes. A very respectable tally of medals ensued (16 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze) while the team made up of Demetrio Bonini, Edoardo Dossena, Franco Dall' Ara, Carlo Paganessi, Pierluigi Rottigni and Eugenio Saini were classified fourth in the trophy behind Czechoslovakia, West Germany and Sweden.
The new and experimental Verlicchi frame debuted at this time. There were four examples, one was entrusted to second placed “Dino” Mercatelli, nr. 42 who raced in team with Signorelli, Oldrati and Polini, competing for the Silver Vase.
The four prototypes were the precursors of the model which entered production in 1971, the series 5.
